May 28, 2016 — INTA’s Building Africa with Brands Conference will be held on September 1 and 2, 2016 at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. This Conference will be the first INTA Conference in Africa in 20 years.

The Conference aims to bring together African and international brand owners, government officials, and lawyers who recognize the growing importance of the African market to their businesses.

The Conference will feature a keynote address from Robbie Brozin—Co-founder of Nando’s restaurant chain—about the evolution of the NANDO’S brand and how brands reflect who and what we are. Attendees will also learn from experts about growing a brand across borders and how the African continent is pioneering mobile-to-mobile marketing and communications. The Conference will provide an avenue to hear from legal, marketing, brand valuation and regulatory experts as they discuss issues unique to the African market with respect to brand development, commercialization, and IP protection and enforcement.
