The theme of this year’s Summit will be ‘Africa Rethinking Innovation’.
Over 800 delegates and 40 speakers from across the African continent are set to attend this year’s event which will feature a number of panels and breakout sessions. Delegates from SMEs, African startups, industrialization stakeholders, universities, NGOs, and more have been invited to attend. The event will focus on a number of key pillars, including youth empowerment, social innovation, green energy, agribusiness, media, science and mobile technology and intellectual property.
During the event, the ASENTI will run a three-day Startup Campus accelerator programme, where 30 startups will be selected for training in strategic planning, digital marketing, branding and pitching. From the 30 startups, 10 will be selected to pitch in the presence of potential investors at the summit. The best pitches will be rewarded with prizes including free business mentorship.
