29th Annual Conference of the Biotechnology Society Of Nigeria

August 13, 2016 — The 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the Biotechnology Society Of Nigeria (BSN) will take place from August 28 to August 31, 2016.

The Theme of the conference is “Biotechnology: A Tool for Enhancing Productivity, Economic Diversification and Job Creation.

Location: University of Calabar
Date: August 28-31, 2016.
Venue: International Conference Centre University of Calabar.

About the BSN

The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria was established with the aim of Promoting cooperation on Biotechnological advancement in Nigeria and the International Community. BSN seeks to promote discussion on all aspects of Biotechnological development within Research institutes, Universities, Government Agencies, Industries and Related Organisations. BSN encourages the exchange of ideas among scientists of different disciplines on the concept and application of Biotechnology through conferences, workshops, exhibitions and publications

Other aims and objectives of BSN are:

1. Work to promote safe and sustainable biotechnology in Nigeria.

2. Promote Biotechnology Education at both secondary and tertiary levels

3. Be the vanguard of biotechnology advocacy, policy formulation and regulation in Nigeria
