The legal battle between Justin Bieber and the Robert Barbera has come to an end as both parties reached a settlement.

Following the lawsuit filed by Robert Barbera against Justin Bieber on October 16, over a photograph of Bieber sitting in the back of a car and published on Instagram. Justin Bieber has reached a settlement with the photographer.

According to the original lawsuit, Robert Barbera alleged that he was the sole owner of the photograph and had registered it with the U.S. Copyright Office adding that the unauthorized use of the photograph by Justin Bieber violates the U.S. laws.

Robert Barbera reportedly said in the original lawsuit that Bieber had not licensed the photograph or sought consent to publish it to his Instagram, where it garnered more than 3,905,147 likes.

The photographer sought an award of damages in its original suit against the singer.

In a notice filed on Monday, October 21 at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Robert Barbera said he had settled the dispute with the singer and asked the court to dismiss the case.
