U.S. News | American Latex Alleges Adult Toy Manufacturer Infringed Patent

Late last month, American Latex Corp. filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California with case number 2:18-cv-05656 against Doc Johnson Enterprises and Does 1-10 alleging patent infringement of a North Hollywood adult toy manufactured by the defendant.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that U.S patent number 8,915,835 by Wing Pow International Corp was assigned to them in 2017 covering a Massage Device having Serial Vibrators.

The plaintiff alleges that the defendants manufactured, imported, and sold the adult toys and that its iRipple vibrator infringes its patent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants. The plaintiff is also seeking to restrain all defendants from further infringement, attorneys’ fees, award of interest and costs, and further relief as the court deems just.
