Stakeholders Drum Support for Herbal Medicine by Bukola Adekoya | THISDAY LIVE


 In a bid for an improved health care system in Nigeria, stakeholders have called on government to give more support towards the development of herbal medicine in the country.  The spokesperson for the National Association of Complimentary Alternative Medicines of Nigeria (NACAMA), Dr Bade Adewale, said that the government must realise the importance in the use of herbs which forms the larger medicinal substance of the conventional drug as the pathway to health evolution.  Adewale, who spoke at the 2014 Annual African Traditional Medicine Day held in Lagos recently described herbs as one of the many wonders of nature. Read more
