Three illegal factories in Onitsha, the commercial hub of Anambra State, have been shut by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), while fake and sub-standard products valued at over N200 million were confiscated during a two-day raid conducted by the Monitoring and Enforcement Team of the organisation.  According to the head of SON in Anambra State, Mr. Albert Wilberforce, who led the operation, the owners of the affected factories took to their heels on sighting members of the monitoring and enforcement team. Read more
