Nigerian News | NAFDAC Recalls Amlodipine 10mg Batch Number GY0128 By Accord Healthcare Limited UK

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has received information from United Kingdom Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), of a voluntary recall of one batch of high blood pressure medication, Amlodipine 10mg tablets manufactured by Accord Healthcare Limited.

The company took the decision to recall the blood pressure medication as a precautionary measure due to out of specification results for tablet description, hardness, and average weight obtained during stability testing.

Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure.
