Nigerian News | Illegal Drug Factory Uncovered in Lagos State

The Nigerian Police Force has uncovered an illegal drug factory and four suspects, Emeka Madu, 47 (Alias Cabara), Eze Young, Chijioke Umunna and Kingsley Obilo arrested at 2, Okunnenye Street, Ikotun Egbe, Lagos.

The Nigerian Police Force Headquarters spokesman, Jimoh Moshood disclose that the owner of the illegal drug factory is allegedly one Emeka Madu known as Alias Cabara, a 47 year old man while the three others are his workers.

The police spokesman stated that they were informed of the illegal factory and acted in uncovering the alleged hidden fake factory. According to Moshood, the fake factory had carried out substantial production, packaging and distribution of fake drugs all over Nigeria.

Cartons of different fake drugs, large quantity of unprocessed chemical substances used in manufacturing drugs, machines for processing, manufacturing and packaging of these drugs as well as forged pharmaceutical papers, plastic buckets of different types were found in the fake factory according to Moshood.

Moshood expressed his great disappointment and lamented over the lives of Nigerians that must have been affected as a result of the damages the use of the alleged fake drugs.
