The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control, (NAFDAC), has said that for Nigeria to attain the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs, fake and sub-standard drugs must be eradicated. Speaking during a sensitization workshop for medicine sellers and distributors within the Bridge-Head Drug Market, Onitsha in Anambra on Friday, Dr Paul Orhii, the Director-General of the NAFDAC, stated that the existence of fake drugs posed a threat to the attainment of the MDGs. Read more
