NAFDAC proposes life imprisonment for fake drug dealers by Innocent Senyo

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) is reviewing its laws, with a view to making fake and counterfeit drugs business to attract life imprisonment upon conviction.  NAFDAC Director General, Dr Paul Orhii who spoke Wednesday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital at the maiden edition of the public enlightenment day of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital said the current law stipulates a fine of N500, 000 or 15 year jail term upon conviction.
