February 17, 2015 — According to the CEO of Emani Global Networks Limited (EGNL), Mr. Emmanuel Osiegbu, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in collaboration with EGNL is carrying out on-the-spot analysis of packaged water (popularly referred to as ‘Pure Water’) in Rivers State, Nigeria. The aim is to safeguard public health and follows the failure of some registered packaged water to pass NAFDAC’s laboratory analysis.  The testing is carried out annually using modern mobile laboratory techniques and includes monitoring of water quality standards by conducting on-site physio-chemical and microbiological quality test analysis at all packaged water manufacturing facilities.
