Copyright Commission Impounds N6 Million Pirated Works, Arrests 7 Suspects

AN estimated six million Naira (N6 million) worth of suspected pirated copyright works has been impounded and seven suspects arrested by operatives of Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) during two separate raids on piracy havens in Gbagada and Oshodi areas of Lagos. The antipiracy operations against suspected pirates of copyright protected books, musical and movie works were executed by a joint team of copyright inspectors lead by Barr.
