Container of N60 Million Suspected Pirated Books Seized by Copyright Commission | NCC

A twenty feet container, loaded with 60,000 copies of suspected pirated literary works estimated at sixty million Naira (N60 million), has been confiscated by operatives of Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) at the Apapa Seaport, Lagos. A report by the Ports Monitoring Officer of NCC, Mr. Joe Ojika, which disclosed this in Lagos, stated that upon a tip-off, the container marked BMOU 2575217 was intercepted on March 24, 2014.
